Private Content

Example

Description

Private content can give you the power to limit which groups of people can access a page on your site. Assume you had a page that was only for staff; using the private content you could limit the page so that only staff had the privileges to view the content within it. This does not offer specific user access limits.

Usage

How to enable private content

We have added a private content section on the document bar in the content edit screen when editing any page in WordPress.

By selecting one or more of these boxes, ONLY those with the associated roles will be able to view the content.  Each staff, student, faculty and alumni member has these roles associated with them in the UTORlogin service we use to authenticate.  We do not and cannot assign roles manually.
